Consult a better Car Rating site rather asking these questions on this forum.

Fortuner is a clear SLAP on Toyota as Manufacturer.

What ever people say, its look like the cheapest manufacture of Toyota, the interiors are crap.

In that price Range anyday go for Parado, Pathfinder, Pajero, Trail Blazer.

In anycase for a SUV i would say - LandCrusier, Patrol, Tahoe & Yukon are Kings.

Good Luck

First of all, I don't like the answers where people mention their personal choice. Why should I pay an extra penny to get Prado if I'm getting the same in less price in Fortuner? What's wrong if Toyota Fortuner looks like Hilux? I don't think it's a drawback. Toyota Prado, Land Cruiser, Path Finder I think they look more ugly.

It's better to buy the car by doing a personal survey rather asking people crazy about Prado, Land Cruiser, Path Finder.

Hello Friends,

In my opinion it's better to go for a Prado because the Toyota Fortuner is manufactured in Indonesia and will affect the resale value when you plan to sell it.

I know you would be using this car for a long time and won't sell it quickly... But this model just sucks! Just a personal opinion.

DONT GO FOR TOYOTA FORTUNER ..ITS JUST A COVERED VERSION OF TOYOTA PICK UP.. BETTER GO FOR TOYOTA PRADO..ITS WORTH BUYING .GOOD SHAPE & BETTER PERFORMANCE

One word for Fortuner ---> IT SUCKS !!!

Fortuner is just like a Hilux Pickup with the back modified... Its competely a flop in Qatar too... Instead of that , in its price range, You can go for Prado, Pajero, or even Pathfinder. I think Fortuner is the one which spoils the name of "TOYOTA "!!! They made many changes in the car to sell them like they increased the engine Capacity to 4 L but still its no where compared to the cars I mentioned before...

So decide properly, AND go FOR Good cars rather than goin for some cheap rated FORTUNER !!! Actually Fortuner is NOT a fortune at all !! LOL !!!

It is too expensive vehicle comparing..It does not worth 1200000...Prado is better...a little more money but it worths buying.

Pathfinder also is better than it...

Its a pick up disguised as an SUV. Don't buy it. Look for other options.

with its sickening look and likeliness to the old pathfinder, i would say not to bother with the fortuner. Rather go with the prado. Fortuner may look spacious. With prado, you are looking at a more hardy better performing, comfortable, enduring car which may mean a sacrifice of non-so-noticible 5% legroom

Toyota fortunner is OK but not that good. If you want to stick with toyota then better try prado. Its much much much better.

Instead of this it is suggested to check Toyota Parado, Nissan Xtera, Mitsubishi Nativa or Outlander, Honda CRV and Chevrolet trail Blazzer.

well nissan didn't go well with terrano...so they changed the name and the looks too with X TERRA.it's a good offroad vehicle and i would give it 4 out of 5 on offroad..on-road it's not bad either..the ride is firm and stiff although handling is not bad....it's a strong vehicle too.....so overall the vehicle is good both on road and offroad..even the looks aren't bad.....it's worth buying as far as i am concerned....although everyone will have a differnt thinking...

well,it's just a 4x4 on a hilux chasis...so i would say its not worth buying...prado,pajero would be a better choice...fortuner is not as bad a car but it seems a bigger version of hilux to me....even the ineterior is a bit same......it's good but not worth buying at such price...

fortuners are just 4x4 wannabe. better go for a trailblazer or envoy, with more features and less price.

I was a back seat passenger in one last week - not much rear leg room.
