limitation on the age of cars.....
Is there a legal limit on the age of cars ? Like for example, a car can only be used for a certain years, after which it needs to be send for inspection or even scrapped.
I am thinking of buying a used car but scared of buying older cars which could only last me 1 or 2 years.
Hi, For new cars you do not need for Technical Inspection until 5 years and if it old and used car you may purchase it but not below 1990 you need technical inspection, Coz the below 1990 Vehicles are not allowed for road permits so please take a Computer check up before you buy a used car.....

nothing exist as such. if a car is not worth driving on the road, what's the use? scrap it. what you think of vintage cars? they are still on road..
Right now there is no restriction on older cars. You can see crappy 1974 corolla running on the roads. In UAE, they are about to implement a law which will not allow you to drive more than 10 years old model cars. If they implement is, Qatar will blindly follows.
Go for an old car but try to avoid anything older than 2000 model.
