MUSTANG VS CHALLENGER VS CAMARO
By Hesham Algendy •
Hi, i was wondering what do you guys think's the best of those 3 Monsters of muscles cars
Ford Mustang / Dodge Challenger / Chevrolet Camaro
In aspects of maintanance and spare parts are they very expensive ? or is it reasonable if anyone has a history with one of the cars can you share your experience please
am thinking of buying one of the 3, mostly thinking of the challenger but i want to know if i'll afford it's maintanance and if it's good in Qatar and so, Thanks in advance to who'd help me.
Nothing wrong with buying a used car, just make sure it's in good condition, get computer checked, and go to the dealer to get its service history.
what about second hand Camaro would it be wise to get a used american car? or ppl usually sell it because of problems or so?
I would strongly suggest purchasing a good 2nd hand car. From experience I can tell you these American cars don't hold their value as well as the Japanese cars, and the price will drop a lot for the first couple of years.
Thanks alot !
It depends on the model, but the usual cost is from 120 - 200k (base model with v6 engine to v8 etc.). Also remember that insurance cost is twice, compared to a normal car.
Dodge is located at Airport Road near Toyota Signal. Ford is located at Salwa (they've closed the Airport Road - I think because of the Railway Station). For Chevrolet, you can check in their main showroom at Jaidah (they have a dedicated showroom for all Camaro).
The Camaro is the cheapest to run. The Dodge, the most expensive.
Thanks alot guys :') this really helped
Well my father used to own a camaro ss and land cruiser, the camaro maintenance was just slightly above in cost in comparison to the cruiser. The services are not expensive at all around 500qr for the normal service, but some people are concerned about spairs because they are almost in the "sports" category. Tires cost around 700qr per piece and other parts aren't too bad either, they can become expensive if you chose to make them by fitting branded brembo brakes, pirelli tires, sports suspension and other stuff.
Okay, man. Then you're bound to be in trouble.
@nexlinx hmm can you like give an average ? like how much expensive compared to a Toyota or so i know there is no comparison but it's just help if u know a range
@wild turkey well i'd take some laps to KSA if that's what it'll take to use my beast to the fullest haha and no def. not for showing off i just love big engines
But where in Qatar can you use the muscles? 120 km/h is the maximum speed in this country. Is it for showing off or do you plan to take some laps in Losail?
Something close to the real muscle cars might be a Chevy Lumina with a V8 engine. That's as close as it gets today,
The 'muscle cars' all died in 1972!
They are not as expensive to maintain as you'd expect.
