There's a car abandoned infront of my house with unknown reason for some years. I don't know where and who is the owner but to be honest the car is still in good looking. I plan to take over that car if the owner doesn't want that car anymore.

Can anyone suggest me how to trace the owner of the car? Is it posible to get the data of the owner from the traffic police only by his registration number? If the reason of the owner abandon his car is leaving the country for good, how is the procedure to take over the car? Pls suggest me, thank you..

If it's abandoned then it either belongs to the bank or the police will impound it or scrap. You may be able to buy it, but legally you can't just take it.

Report it to the police is your first step.
