Dear QLers, do I need to seek approval from Traffic Department if I am going to put light tint on the lights of my car? Cause I see a lot of cars with tint on their headlights and tail light and its very nice to see ....please advise!

No, u dont need any approval for tinting on the front / rear lights.

you can tint ur lights from the shop located on Salwa Road.

i m not sure about the front deiver/passenger glass but u can apply atleat 20% tint on ur glasses in summer aswell.

I just want to make it look better, but i am looking for the light tint which will not affect its purpose. Thanks for the concern...

Can't see any benefit to tinting lights - surely this will reduce their effect and your visability. In a country where you need all the help you can get on the roads, why put yourself at an instant disadvantage?
