I had a look at the new Prado 2010, wasn't that impressed. Did expect more features and change in looks. What are your view?? Is it worth the deal compared to the Landcruiser GXR??
Well I did not know they jacked up the price of the GXR, bear in mind if you go for the full size Land cruiser you should opt for the V8 as the smaller engine is under powered for this size of the car.
I still feel that 161000 for the one with the sun roof option is overpriced and worth around 145000 or so, I would rather pay 145000 for the Honda Pilot fully optioned including the leather seats rather than buy the Prado. If you prefer Toyota's and depreciation is a big factor in your criteria, then I would go for the less equiped V6 of the Prado, I believe it is called TXR and you should get it for 145,000 and this will reduce the loss in resale value. If you consider the 4 cylinder and do not care about the engine being under powered, choose the cheapest possible for the least depreciation factor.
They have hiked the price of the GXR to 206,000/ after discount it will be 200,000/- The Prado being the a new launch, it might fetch more for resale and less in depreciation. The price difference is 40,000/-. Still confused id to buy the land cruiser GXR 2010 or Prado VV 2010. Please comment
I was also disappointed, I was ready to buy, so I went to the showroom, from the front the car looks nice, the rear and sideview are bland and nothing special. The price of the VX starts at 161,000 with the sun roof, what the heck. I think the v8 GXR at 191000 is much better car and a value buy compared to this VX Prado.

I am not buying as it is not worth the price.
There is no question of comparing Parado 2010 with GXR at all. I must say new Parado looks great as compare to old one.
