Traffic diversion on West Industrial Area
The Public Works Authority — Ashghal — announced a traffic diversion on the West Industrial Street in the direction from Roundabout 15 towards Roundabout 10 starting from Saturday until the completion of the permanent road.
The other direction of the street has been widened to make it a two-way street as per the attached map to allow traffic in both directions without any interruption during ongoing works.
The closure is part of the first phase of roads and infrastructure project in Industrial Area, undertaken by Ashghal.
The project aims to increase the capacity of roads and support traffic in the area in addition to providing integral infrastructure.
Ashghal apologises for any inconvenience and urges all road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs to ensure their safety.
