why don't you consider smaller versions of SUV's? i'm talking about nissan xterra, toyota fortuner or honda crv since i believe that you are working not in the dunes but in the city. probably you should consider parking spaces also nowadays.

i'm planning to buy one xterra for me before ramadan ends.

its better to visit the shop dealers now bcoz most of the dealers are having good ramadan promos...

cheers..!

dear

why buy an expensive car with 4X4 option while we are using the main roads only ??? and with all these signals & cameras ????

get yourself a small corolla , City or Tiida and save your money in price , petrol , maintenance & even aftersale ..

think it over ..

Consider after sales service also. If you will get Toyota, you have to get a year supply of panadol!

i would say toyota prado but even better would be toyota land cruiser or nissan patrol if your options are open... they have good resale values too...

I suggest to check for the jeep wrangler unlimited, its a true off road 4x4, resale is good if you see in market 2005 wrangler 2 door is sold around 58,0000 riyals, and 2006 for around 65,000 above, I have also checked for 2007 model it was for 80,000. But it will also depend upon car condition. But above that resale is bit slow, it may take some time to sell.

Only a suggestion, and my idea for off road car.Other people may disagree.

I am to planning to purchase one soon. Cheers.

Pathfinder by far. If you get the optional side impact airbags it is one of the safest SUVs-Forbes. Lots of power from its 4.0 Liter. Good AC excellent resale value. Some body role but it is built for offroad-which it is very good at. I have a 2007 and I love it. If you can get the 2008 with the V8 even more power. As far as cost-best value for your money.

I agree with JarHead...

But again, if you are not occational off road driver and don't take too much of risk while off road, Prado would be an ideal choice.

I own one and I am totally happy with it.

Also look into FJ Crusier that will sit in your budget, if you can extent the budget I would always recommend Land Crusier.

NISSAN PATROL....!!!

ur choices are all wrong.

Prado = People who think they want to go offroad but never do anyways.

Pathfinder- Too much body roll. and Rated among top 20 unsafest suvs (check forbes)

Pajero- Mitsubishi AC's suck. Just a pimped out version of the last pajero. low on power.
