I wonder, Why Are Second Hand Nissan Altimas Cheap ? And Why Do They Have A Low Re-Sale Value Though It's A Good And Respected Car In The Market ? Like I See A Lot Of Good Nissan Altima 2007 Models In Below 40,000 Riyals Range ! Any Idea Why People Sell It Cheap ?

I drove this car for over an year and all I can say is that its a nice car to drive.

Pros

Spacious

Enough Power for a family car

Comfy

Cons

Very low, doesn't take speed humps that well

A bit noisy inside on high speeds

As far as spares are concerned, what will you replace?

- break pads

- windshield vipers

- belts

- plugs

- engine mounts etc

not much of a cost. My advice is that if you are gonna purchase, just call up Nissan showroom and give them a list of spares you would probably have to replace and get that to send you a quote.

All in all. Its a very good car.

It's the case with all American made Japanese brands.

Altima gained popularity & reliability only after 2005. If you notice the low price is only for 2005 - 2007/2008 models.

A year after the new shape for the Altima came out, they are almost on par with the Accords.

for simple reasons :

first : a lot of damages

second : expenses spare parts rather than other Nissan models
