This restaurant is unimpressive, nothing I ordered tasted nearly as good or near to regular Indian cuisine. Heck, the palak paneer also was the worst I have ever tasted. The spinach was fresh in the palak paneer dish but the cottage cheese or paneer was so rubbery and was fried so hard to hide the staleness.
Ordered the foll: Chicken kababs(came over roasted so burnt), chicken korma (was decent), mutton biryani (was over scented with kewra essence, but tasted nothing near to a real biryani), bread basket.
The only thing worth in my QAR275 bill was the fresh bread basket I ordered, all breads tasted decent at least. This restaurant should be ordered to be shut down as it is a shame on its claims of fine indian cuisine. The owners and chefs of Chingari should be taken to Dubai to taste delicious Indian cuisine at quarter the price they charge. Chingari is not even close to its name and should be renamed. Bad tasting, flat cuisine, uninspired menu. Expensive price to pay for such crappy tasting food.
