Bethel Assembly of God Church

Information

Bethel Assembly of God Church started its first gathering in May 1999 in the residence of Bro. K.M. Kuruvila. Including children, 40 members attended the first worship meeting. With the earnest prayers of each members, Bethel AG got a new rented building in Bin Omran area and the church was shifted to that building within a month.

Since the establishment of Bethel AG was God’s plan, Holy Spirit worked in a special way and started to multiply the members within a short period.

In the year 2001, the church was shifted to a new more convenient location near Al Hilal area. The church was functioning in this area till the Qatar government provided a worship place for all Christians in the year 2007 and among other churches, Bethel AG also shifted to its own building (Hall No. 1, Pentecostal Churches building, IDCC Complex). During this period, the Holy Spirit motivated in each member’s heart and all are gathered for worship and prayer meetings in one accord.

The church is still continued to grow and now Bethel AG is the biggest Pentecostal church in Doha with a total strength of over 1000 members and has multi-language worship services, such as in Malayalam, English, Hindi & Tamil.
