where do u think i can get the best laptop for games here in Qatar,
i've checked Jarir Book Store, i liked the HP Pavilion dv5 with a 512 nVidia 9600m GT graphics + 1278mb Shared...
i found a better Qosmio with ATI 1GB card + 2GB shared.. but it doesn't have a BlueRay player which i really want...
both had Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
where do i get a laptop with Intel Core 2 Quad or Extreme..?!

don't ask me to get a desktop. i don't stay home much..

Get it from the US using shop n ship from Aramex. Just make sure your warranty is worldwide or you'll have to settle for Comp Arabia.
Make sure you get the LED back light screen. It is awesome.
I have read your post and i'm planning to buy the dell xps desktop pc in computer arabia next week. In US its about 1,500usd approx...how much is it here in qatar?

The HP HDX series is great. Alienware is good (but overpriced). Dell XPS is a nice option after HP HDX. The larger HDX are known as desktop replacements.

i have the same problem too. i been searching for a gaming laptop here in doha but it seems difficult to find a good one. i found toshiba qosmio x305 wz 1gb nvidia gforce 9800gts card once in a computer shop here but now they said its out of stock.. unlucky for me..:(
where do i get the XP drivers from after i install it..
and where can i get the softwares.. like bluetooth software & finger print software & others..
XP is better than Vista to complement with other applications we use.

i dont think ud find laptops in doha with core 2 quad extremes...alienwares have em..its expensive and not really worth it....just buy a simple quad....get a desktop..unless u really want a laptop

wht do u mean the qosimo has an ati 1gb gpu.....low range gpu`s can have 1gb...be more specific...1gb doesnt mean its fast
My IBM Thinkpad T61 has Dual Core Centrino, 3 GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro NVS 140 and Bluetooth connector. DVD Writer, wireless LAN, Ethernet LAN, SATA HD and DVD drive. Nothing I would miss.
Go to Computer Arabia and get yourself a 1730 with the best specs that money can buy.
