any info about the location!!!!!!!!!!
@ Alumnar, spot on,the expats who shop @ these places know full well that the very same products(& in this case @ the very same store) cost FAR LESS than what they would pay back home despite the added tax & VAT,yet they don't have a choice & for a lot of them on the "expat package" it won't really make a huge dent in their savings eh? & yes, locals or to be more specific, the kind of locals that would shop @ dean & deluca don't look @ price tags...
With the limited choice of import products available let's open a shop which charges many times more from the fair price! Daft Expats (no offense) will buy it as they are desperate for quality and a taste from home, and most locals don't need to look at pricetags anyway. I'm with you gadarene!
@ johnny 76,a wrap normally costs about 10 bucks, charge double that,20 or 25 bucks NOT more than three times...i'm being VERY realistic my friend,a "quality wrap" does not cost six & a half quid in London or nine dollars plus in NYC,why should i pay that much for it in Doha of all the places???...& there's no tax or VAT unlike NYC & London...nice store,no doubt, with quality stuff, not faulting that but prices are a tad too high for some things, like the wrap in question...
all items 20% off yesterday... dont know today
where is this located??
Carrefour sell a nice range of baguettes if Dean and Deluca is out of your price range... get real man look at the store 34 riyals is not a lot for a quality wrap.
Store looks great guys, something amazing for Doha... spent way too much last night!!!
Gadarene, Qrs 10 for the food, Qrs 24 for the experience.
Be coz somethings you can't buy with MasterCard. : )
@ simon,heard you the first time mate...btw,what's with charging Qrs.34 for a quesadilla wrap???...what's in it,gold???...
we hope to see you.
we hope to see you.
we hope to see you.
@ genesis, someone's got to do it eh? *wink*!!! nah, my bad mate, will wait till i check out the store to make further comments...have a good one!...
You always manage to find something to rant about ;)
ahh yes,the rare quality store opening in this town...i do sincerely hope they offer all or at least most of what their other stores do,rather than having it just in name like SO MANY other chains here...
Finally
What’s the shop timing?
Are you open on Friday morning?
will be there this morning....been waiting long for this!
