I need to have hand surgery due to a torn ligament (= incredible pain) in my thumb. The hand surgeon at Aspetar is an American - Dr. Craig Bottoni.

Does anyone know anything about him? I've read his profile & resume here and there on the web, but I'm a bit of a doctor snob and I'm hesitant to sign up for him just because he's visiting from the U.S.

Know of any other *very good* and *very qualified* hand surgeons in Doha?
