The First Doha Food Festival, organized under the slogan of "Taste and Fun" is a new event organized by Qatar Tourism Authority for the enjoyment of local residents and families in Qatar as well as regional visitors. This year s festival is part of the celebration of Doha as the Capital of Arab Culture for 2010.
The festival will feature forty-eight vendors representing a wide variety of food prepared by Qatar s most popular restaurants. Events also include live music, activities, games and a play area for children as well as several raffle draws for the visiting public.
The sponsors of the event are Al Baddad International and Seqlia Exhibition and Conference Organizers.
The food festival was actually disapointing. it did not cater to the normal public. It just had venues/stalls of empolyed groups trying to market their hotels. This was not a Food Festival! My advice is to skip it.
true i probably would.
Khattak, when someone comments on something, people assume right away that it is a msg of hate.. Facts are not always a story with a good end like in egyption movies ;)
.. Facts could be harsh but they are still facts!
I remember Qatar day, it was like an indian fest - noo hate again.. but imagine a food fest like that, comon..
