Garage / engine rebuilders recommendations?

Ok, probbaly not in the right section, but here goes:

Can anyone recommend a decent (and cheap) garage, that could repair a landrover discovery? I took it to Al Fardan (sp?) but at QR240 / hour and a quote of QR2000 just to tune the engine before even trying to find the real problem, I think I'll give them a miss!

I think the problem is one of the main bearings (crankshaft); I'd try and fix it myself, but I work a 70+ hour week and just don't have the time. Even if I did repair it, I would probably need somewhere that can skim the heads and possibly machine out for new over-size bearings.

So, any recommendations & contact details gratefully received!
