The General Vs The Emperor
...need some urgent inputs please...
I am now about ready to purchase my first brand new car here in Qatar and my choices are narrowed down to two. I am quite interestingly considering the General's Chevrolet Lumina and the Emperor's Toyota Camry. Both of which are priced almost the same but the specs are quite different. Lumina has 3.6L V6 engine compared to Camry's 2.4L I4. Being all else are the same (power and luxurious features), which one would you rather have if you are at my place? I'd appreciate it much if i can have some info especially from those who have had experiences with both of the cars. Things that I would like to have most on my car are: (1) good A/C even in the peak of summer (2) quiet ride (3) good pickup especially from round-abouts (4) no rattles and squeaks.
Please pour-in your thoughts guys; but let's not end up in a violate debate, ok? thnks!
He's not looking at the SS , but the ordinary Lumina..
I've owned a Lumina SS for the last 2 years and I would never ever trade it for a Camry.
I think the choice is more about what's important to you than anything else. Both are very different cars. The Camry is a luxury vehicle that will take you from A to B in comfort and Quiet, but don't expect it to get your adrenaline rushing.
The Lumina is a high-performance sports car that begs to be driven. Hard. It's all about the thrills... truly a pleasure to drive to the limit.
Build quality of both cars is excellent. Both A/Cs are comparable. After sales service is similar. So take your pick.
No question about it, buy the Camry.
just eat another pie
Hands down.
Well, de choices u narrowed down r quite interesting... Only minus point i can think of on a lumina wud b de resale value... Toyota does hav de highest market here in Qatar, but 4 power, style, gud pickup... Its de lumina...!!!
Go with the Camry.. It has a superb A/C unit and also has great resale value..
