I just saw LG has great full HD tv advertised on the net for good price-check these models42lg60 and 42lg70-both advertised on internet for 4742 but very good hd 1080p, intelligent sensor to adjust to current lighting in room, 3ms response, 120hz refresh. Very nice at a very good price and excellent reviews.

plus Samsung got way far better feature than other brands..

even better than Sony in some ways..

if you are looking for cheap HDTV.. you can buy Onida for 2050 QR... its there in lulu.. i saw that last week.

i'd go for Samsung too...whatever the reviews say bottom line its AFFORDABLE! i've compared prices with Sony and the others and sony is just over priced in everything. so i feel...me using a Samsung lcd 22" wide screen at home and loving it.

i was gone to buy sony hd tv but when i see there i like samsung so i buyed sumsung 1080p hd 40 inch :)

I'd recommend looking at reviews of specific models. Go to carefore or other stores and take notice of the models provided. Then do a consumer review search on the net for those models. You'll get professional and consumer reviews. Thats what I did a year ago and I feel I got a good model at that time.
