@ gabrieljosh - the steps for buying online are the same for buying in a shop;

- Go to shop/website

- Select product

- Go to checkout desk

- Enter delivery address

- Enter credit card details

- Wait for product to arrive

Thexonic, you can buy electronics, I've done it.

If you use shop and ship (and you can own a box with them, you don't need your company to do it for you - go to www.aramex.com for more details) they'll take between 4 to 6 business days to deliver, if I'm not mistaken. The most time it took for an item of mine to get delivered was 2.5 weeks, from placing the order at Amazon to delivering to my aramex box in Doha.

What if I buy some thing from the manufacturer website? I need to buy some electronic components for my final project. What is the procedure involved? I haven't bought any thing from the Internet until now.

It would be helpful if some one out there guide me if I can get wireless transmitter n reciever (transmit a digital signal and reciever it at a distance of 20 meters) here in QATAR? I tried Al Annabi electronics but didnt find it there.

Look forward for yout responses....

Just get a pre-paid credit card from Doha bank, sign up on amazon or barns and nobles and start your shopping. The fastest delivery takes upto about 3 weeks or a month. Oh and u cant order electronic or food material.

Well, i would always recommend u to not purchase things through net cause of security reasons. u may not know whats the impact later on.

but it would be a nice idea if u have a direct contact with the bank and make sure ur card security is reliable. to make a purchase.

i would like to know if u have a VISA encraved on ur credit card?

with a credit card. i've bought from ebay, amazon, and others. some places will not allow you to make a purchase with a credit card from Qatar, but the more likely problem you will have is getting items shipped here. many on ebay will ship international. some items on amazon can not be shipped outside the US.

but ship & shop from aramex will solve that, if your company has it.
