The Dell is Win7 and the HP is Vista. I think most laptops are now coming with Win7
thanks Alfar, sounds as a good price really, just one question was it with win7 or vista ?
I recently bought Dell Inspiron 1545
2.2 Ghz, 4GB ram, 320GB harddrive, 512MB graphics and 15.6" screen - price from Carrefour about QR2950
and HP 2.10GHZ, 3GB ram, 320GB, 13.3" screen, 512 MB graphics for about QR3150
Jarir Bookshop also sells for about the same price
5m4rtGlamour- your link doesn't work !
I saw these:

http://www.qlassified.com/detail.asp?id=1794
But I don't know much about the process. I think I am going to sign up and try to sell something this week.
5m4rtGlamour - I prefer a new one. but if there is a used one in excellent condition provided with at least a 6 months warranty, it will be ok.
You don't want used, right?
Do you want new or can it be used?
any other comments ?
Don't forget - prices here are tax free, but import costs are added so the price works out the same, but as macgyver says, but it here for the warranty.
Thank you macgyver
the price is almost the same. difference is between 100-300 riyals only. it's better to buy your laptop here in doha. no hassles for swervice and repair if it is under warranty.
