Knitting wool and cross stitch stuff

Please can you let me know where is the best place to buy knitting wool and needles .... also cross-stitch things such as fabrics, thread and patterns. My mother-in-law is visiting and loves doing handwork and I am new to Doha and not yet sure where to get these things.

Go to bank street. Fardan building will be on your right side. Second right after Fardan building (market area - smalls stores / Al-Jabr Perfume mall) - you'll see Al-Rawnaq. Everything for sewing/crafts will be scattered around the store, but I think the things you specifically need are on the second floor. Good luck. Sorry if my directions suck (hopefully someone can help me out if you need it) - my husband does all the driving, so I don't pay attention much!

Al-Rawnaq for sure. They have tons of variety...you'll go crazy in that store! (Super cheap and walls and walls of "things")
