List of shops re-opening in various malls across Qatar from June 15
As Qatar gears up to begin easing restrictions under a four-phased plan, shops at malls across the country will be partially opened on June 15 under strict rules to ensure the safety of all.
The shops will also remain closed on Fridays and Saturdays, the official confirmed.
Only stores with a minimum area of 300 square meters will be opened during Phase 1. The number of shoppers inside a complex will be restricted to 30 percent of its capacity.
As the first phase begins on June 15, stores, commercial complexes, and shoppers will all be required to abide by certain measures to safeguard the health of the community.
According to a senior official at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), children aged below 12 years and individuals above 60 will not be permitted to enter malls and commercial complexes during the initial stages of the plan.
