Depending on your budget.

There are lots of good resturants. a few of the top end are:-

La Mer at the Ritz (23rd floor over looking golf)

Fish market - Inter con (not Friday as its buffet)

Gordon Ramsey (fine dinning) at St Regis

I have eaten at all 3 and had excellent food & service, They are not cheap but a very special treats.

This is absolutely lovely and romantic and very private and quiet.

We go there for quiet celebrations... even with friends.

Pricey but worth it.

There are a few romantic restaurants in Doha, I can highly recommend Maxim´s at the Radisson´s Hotel, La Mer and Porcini at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Il Teatro at the Four Season´s Hotel but these restaurants are very expensive. La Veranda at the Sheraton Hotel is an option, romantic and good price. If you are into Lebanese food, Burj Al Haman at the Pearl is also very nice and for your budget of 500 Riyal for 2 is just good enough.

Christina,

Al Shaheen serves alcohol Torch doesn't..:)

How can it be romantic without a glass of wine with your food..:)

By britexpat• 8 Oct 2012 12:18

It does not have to be expensive. Remember when Rizks took his beloved out on her last birthday. They rode to Wakra beach. Rizks picked up a Biryana and Pepsi on the way. Then he laid out his spare lungi and they both sat under the moonlight and fed each other.

Fudruckers..

My Cuban Shotputter used to order two one pound burgers with full works. We used to light a candle and sit there staring into each others eyes whilst she devoured the burgers and supped on the 2ltr Diet Cola.

Then we used to quietly walk hand in hand on the corniche and have a Karak Chai at Rizks' Papadom and Pani Poori Emporium before retiring ..

Good times :O)

What about those American Fast Food joints?

By GodFather.• 8 Oct 2012 11:26
GodFather.

Over looking the Arabian Gulf, Sitting in the Open along the Corniche on the Sea front, Frankincense burning in the distance, and the music playing in the back ground.

There is only one romantic place like that in the whole of Doha. The one and only Halul Cafe next to MIA.
