Not sure if this is the best place for this question, but here goes. . .

I have a prepaid Qtel (hala?) mobile that I'll use until I receive my RP, which will hopefully be next week.

I'm worried that my balance is getting low and I don't want it cutting off without notice. How can I check the balance?

Is it possible to top it off just a bit? I don't want to load heaps of QR onto it just to be switching to subscription rates soon thereafter if I can help it.

Also, will my phone # change when I move to a subscription?

press *129# to get your balance. if your out of load they wil send you a message informing you that you have to top up ur hala card and when is the expiry date of your sim. If you'll be getting a line I think they offer a conversion wherein you will still have your number. I suggest you top up 100 good for 4 mths.
