qtel = Worst Customer Service

What is wrong with these service providers ??? there is a problem with my internet , so i dailed 111 on qtel phone ... i wanted to speak to an agent about my problem ... so what happened that i was that i was holding the phone and the continuously hearing qtel ads about different crap ..for like mins but didnt get connected to an agent ... it kept saying ' please hold , our agent will speak to u ..... ' this happened the third time ...
WHo wanna hear their useless promotions ??? they even say a button for promotion ... i didnt press that , i pressed 'speak to an agent which is 3 '
I think their Fibre Optic installation contract has failed big time... they just wont admit it...
I applied for a shifting of my existing ADSL line on 23rd Jan 2013, and today being 9th of March, I still have nothing...Booked 2 Complaints on papers and 26 Complaint calls over the phone via customer care.. Cheers to Qtel !!
Always contact them via social media, let them call you...
Why don't you guy not complaining in their Facebook site,
they have special team to handle those request. faster response.

I submitted a claim on 06-02-13 regarding my landline service as it is not working,
Since that date & I'm calling 111 on regular basis & no any action from the maintenance team,
The customer service (111) are sending them reminders & urgent requests ... No any action or even no one contacted me yet,
I thought to send my complain on their facebook page,
I got a direct reply as follow: "Hi, we are sorry for any delay, kindly give us some time to check it out with the related department and we'll get back to you once we hear from them."
That was on Thursday, let's see if any serious action today!!!
Has nothing to do with monopoly. You can have a monopoly but still hire decent professionals.
On many occasions, I waited more than 30 minutes and the agent simply hung up. I could hear him laughing with his friends.
What a great Image that gives to Qatar. "The capital of education" Everything inside this country is a big joke and everyone is here just to make quick money and get the *** out. No one cares and no one has long term plans in any company they work at.
wherever you see a lot of Indian employees, you notice that most of the company is Indian.. the language spoken between employees infront of the customer is actually Indian. With all getting their friends and hiring their family where they work, how do you expect professionalism? What a joke
i was told to get my fiber optic after 2 months , 5 months passed away .. my location on qtel.com is also approved as installed already ... but here , no one has it
What does "la ooredoo" mean?

Another option is report the incident on their facebook page. Atlast somebody will reply immediately, "Your problem is noted and forwarded to the concerned department."

bill starts from the date you applied, whether you got the connection or not :P
Tip: Every time you call Qtel, kneel and pray that their agents are not having coffee, lunch, prayer, facebooking, busy on their phone with boyfriend/girlfriend, chit chatting with colleagues & list goes on and on...
I fully agree,and understand the frustration.
My Mosaic connection got fiberoptic a month ago, and now my tv is filled with spam of all channels which work for one minutes, and then say " you have not subscribed to this channel"
We have also lost some good channels which were a part of our earlier package. So frustrating...
If I have not subscribed then why the hell do they spam me ? Cant I have just what I paid for ?
Is it not unethical business practice ?
I applied for home broadband on Nov 26 (now more than 3 months)but i did not get the connection yet. I called customer service for follow up, still same situation. Really fed up with the monopoly Qtel.
