Vegemite?

Does anyone know whether I can buy Vegemite in Doha? I tried to ask my mum to send some to me from Australia but it doesnt get through customs.

don't like the taste of marmite or vegemite. Found it a bit strong for me.

LOL. I had no idea too, until I packed up and went to Australia couple of years back.
Vegemite is a dark (bitter tasting) spread made from yeast residue. It's the richest natural source for vitamin B. Originally Australian, but now the trademark is owned by Kraft Foods USA (those bloody Americans wanna patent everything as their own ;-)).
I was hooked on to Vegemite for some time too. If you're new to it, try it on toast first. The trick is to use as little as possible.

here in doha when they run out of something normally take sometimes to get it back on the stock. So i used to stocked up like marmite, weetabix or heinz salad cream. :-)
the last time i saw was in Landmark Mall. In Mega Mart supermarket.
