We need to buy a crib / cot for our baby. Any advice?

Hello everyone

I've just arrived in Doha with my baby son. We need a crib for him. I was told to look for one at Babyshop (Centerpoint) and Lulu Hyper. I've already been to Centerpoint. Lulu is next on the list. Any other places that specialize in Baby furniture?

I'd really appreciate your help.

I'm selling my baby cot - GRACO brand only 1 year used . I bougth that in Toys R US good quality though. If you are interested just pm reasonable price and still good for another 6 kids:)

We found mothercare to be the best. Mamas and papas are very expensive and babyshop a bit cheap and tacky. There are mothercare stores at Landmark, hyatt Plaza and city centre.

I would advice you to go to the western baby shops in the city centre mall. I bought a cot for 240 QR from Lulu's and it broke in about 45 days...

The quality is really rubbish in these hypermarkets...

My son had a cot in the UK for about a year and we never had any problems like this...

try mamas and papas in villagio. they speiclise purely in baby furniture etc.
