What is a Kabayan? I see it in so many forums. Has it got anything to do with Kebabs?

"Kabayan" is a word coming from the Philippines, meaning a person of the same country. Filipinos like to call each other "Kabayan" to distinguish us from other nationalities.

A kebeb is a small furry mammael found on the east coast of ireland. They eat only fruit of the wam wam tree and give birth to at least 5 young called kebablings every summer. They are hunted for their fur which is used fro making jock straps for the american market due to the softness of the fur.

hi there!.. "kababayan" is a Filipino word of friend, a pal or an acquaintance... its a colloquial term to address a buddy... but as what has been mentioned, it defines a people of the same race or from a the same origin... has nothing to do with food....
