I've tried alot resto to taste felafel, the best in my taste bud are Take Away and Petra, only that, in Petra, i don't like the bread they use, Take Away have freshly baked felafel and bread, go to their Rayyan branch and you will see how they bake the bread and make your sandwich,,,cheap and clean

The best known Flafil to me is at Palestine restaurant in front of stadium near Library, Old Ghanim. In the evening you will not find parking there, due to rush of customers.

Thanks heero, so I should take my personal Arabic translator with me next time I go down to Kahraba St.

Better yet, why don't you just run over there and get some and send it over here? Thanks! :-D

A small falafel store besides Al Bashawat Restaurant in Kahraba St. near National. The signboard is written in Arabic but I found the Romanized word in a Qtel sticker inside the store.

Hope this helps. Sorry if it took me two days to find the name of the store. Got used to the system around here. LOL

at Hot Bread Bakery.

Don't know why it took nearly a decade to find it, because we are regulars there. Hubby went last Saturday to the one on Mirqab Saturday and they were making it fresh.

It's really good.... light texture, and crispy.

He brought it home, so we didn't eat it till a couple of hours later and it was still crispy. Mmmm.... with some tahina and ayesh balady.......yummmm.........

Oooh, now I'm really craving falafel!

Truthfully, the best I've ever had was at a Lebanese restaurant in California. And the guy used to sell his own mix, so I could make it at home and it was just as good.

Mmmmmm........
