Are there any associations for the deaf here in Qatar?

If so, I'd like to find out whether I can serve there. Different countries use different sign languages. Mine is ASL, hopefully relevant for Qatar but if not, I think I can still learn the local one (without knowing Arabic, if that's possible).

/My Arabic is plodding along VERY slowly. Extremely slowly, to be precise. Waiting for classes to start and trying to learn via beginners books but don't think I'm getting very far. :(

I have seen a center for the deaf in Abu Hamour area near the roundabout for the fruit and veg market, i think.
