Concentrate on grammer, vocabulary and spelling too. Aviod text speak. Read a dictionary and try to learn a few words per day. Hang out with English m8s.

Read newspapers and books which are in English and practise some difficult English words in front of a mirror inside your room and repeat those difficult English words many times. Focus your mind on English words only and finally, you will learn English. Or come to my place and spend some time with me. I will help you free of cost if you have a great desire.

How about watching movies on DVD, and running the English subtitles ? Sounds like a good idea doesnt it? My girlfriend tried this, and quickly discovered that MORE OFTEN THAN NOT the subtitles were inaccurate. Sometimes ridiculously so. Who writes those things ?

read atleast 2 news paper articles a day...read it slowly and focus on the pronounciation using your own accent...do not try to imitate an English or an American one...Watch the movie "My Fair Lady" and the statement

"Why cant the English speak English" turns to reality even till this date

The best way is to use it in your everyday speaking, don't be afraid to make mistakes, we all do and you should be applauded for yur efforts.

Reading and writing too will help but speaking with other English speaking people will be most beneficial x

Offer to teach an English speaking person, YOUR language. That way, not only do you learn from them but they learn a new language from you. Its a win, win situation.

Hi,

As they said above,

Read books, Watch daily TV series, and try to talk to native speakers.

Most of all, dont be shy if you make mistakes, on the contrary, be happy, its the best way to learn

( Practice makes perfect)

Best of luck

The best way to learn english?

1. Read ENGLISH newspaper, books, and read aloud. Have someone to listen to you so he/she correct your pronounciation.

2. Watch movies, shows and repeat the words as they speak

3. Visit websites so you would know the basics

4. If you could afford it, there's CD/DVD language lessons in jarir bookstore.

Don't be shy to ask for help...
