Josoor Institute’s Spectator Services Programme Ends
Doha, Qatar –8 September, 2015: Josoor Institute, a centre of excellence founded by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), successfully concluded two days of highly intensive and interactive executive development programme titled ‘Spectator Services – A Senior Manager and Director Viewpoint’ today.
The programme welcomed 30 delegates from Qatar, UAE and Jordan including representatives from the UAE Professional League Committee, Local Organising Committee for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Jordan 2016, SC, Ministry of Interior, Qatar Football Association, Qatar Starts League, Aspire Zone Foundation, Aspire Logistics and several local sports clubs and schools.
The executive development programme was delivered by Andy Young, Ex-Senior Consultant at Wembley Consulting and head of events services during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Martin Girvan, Inspector at Sports Ground Safety Authority, UK. Both speakers were involved in developing and executing the protocol for spectator services and safety in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Later this week, Josoor Institute will be delivering its first regional workshop in Jordan titled ‘An Introduction to the Venue and Stadium Management’ that will provide an overview of key aspects of modern venue operations and management.
