I'm 17 years old and I have been studying my 12th grade here at Doha. Now, my parents said that we will mirgrate to Canada by Feb 2009; however, I want to stay here to finish my senior year. Otherwise, I will repeat it when I go to Canada.

My father said that sponsorship problems would prevent me from doing so.

Now I want to know if there's any way I could stay here without my parents?

Does Qatar give visas/study permit to accomodate my case?

Do you guys have more suggestions to solve my dilemma?

Yes my friend you can easily get student Visa.

Just take admission in any institute or college in Doha and automatic you will get Student Visa.

Check with the institution where you study, probably they can you, but you are still minor I beleive, may be they might ask for a local gaurdian, I am not sure but you can still check with it.
