Hello! I'm new in Qatar and have been looking for a public library. I heard about the Qatar National Library from a friend. I was hoping that someone could tell me when the library construction will be finished and the library will be open to the public. I also wanted to know what kind of books they will have, I know they'll have books in both English and Arabic but will the books be the same as what is found in a normal American library? Is it a big selection of books?

Greetings from Qatar National Library!!

Kindly note and although the library building has yet to open its door, Qatar National Library is open digitally and is currently providing free online access 24/7 to a vast collection of diversified online resources through the library`s website .

For registration, please fill in the online form at https://library.qnl.qa/selfreg~S1 , to complete the registration process you will need to visit Qatar National Library temporary project offices at Tornado Tower -9th floor or visit QNL`s HBKU branch within the Education City and provide a copy of your valid Qatari ID/Resident Permit.
