I was reading a thread in one of the forums yesterday posted by a 55-year old Egyptian working in Saudi, he was wondering “for how long should he keep working and living in Saudi away from his country and memories”. This started the non-ending thoughts in my mind about the decision I took 15 years ago when I decided to work outside my home country and can’t decide when I am to go back.
I was trying to thing of pros and cons and then pick or set my mind, doing this for the last 15 years.
I know it’s hard for us to talk about this issue, especially we (Egyptians) are known of our emotions and heart-oriented decisions.
Any thoughts, I am not looking for a solutions, I am just thinking out loudly and discussing it altogether will be a kind of relief for all of us.
