BASAHIN: Proclamation 1959 (QL-FilEx version)
Proclamation 1959 (QL-FilEx version): Proclaiming a State of Emergency and requesting the group admins to perform a dance number to the tune of Nobody by Wonder Girls.
Whereas, Proclamation No. 1946 was posted on 21/11/2009 (http://www.qatarliving.com/node/813661) declaring the FilEx Christmas Party for the purpose of sharing the fun, excitement and the true spirit of Christmas.
Whereas, Sec. 18 Art. VII of the Constitution provides that “in case of partee on!, when public gathering requires it, the members may, for a period not exceeding 6 days, suspend the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus".
Now, therefore we, QL-FilEx members, by virtue of the powers vested in us by the Constitution and by law, do hereby proclaim as follows:
Sec. 1: There is hereby declared a State of Emergency in the www.qatarliving.com>group>filipino-expatriates-in-qatar
Sec. 2: The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall likewise be suspended in the aforesaid group for the duration of the State of Emergency.
