Basic Arabic - Lesson 4.3 (Shadda, Fa, Sheen, Kha)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In this lesson we will take the shaddah and three consonants:

shadda,

fa (f),

sheen (sh), and

kha (kh)

Shadda is not a letter of the alphabet, it is just a mark written above a consonnant to indicate that it is stressed twice in the pronunciation of a given word.

Note: The fatha or dammah is written above the shadda while the kasrah is written below it or below the consonant:
