Administration bet Gilberto Teodoro Jr. are statistically tied for first place in the presidential race, the Feb. 16-19 Political Opinions of the Youth (POYS) survey in the University of Santo Tomas (UST) showed.
The survey involved 13,599 UST college students and had an error margin of less than one percent.
The target was the full student population 35,889 but only 13,599 participated.
Aquino got 33.2 percent of student votes while Teodoro received 32.5 percent. With an error margin of less than margin percent, the two cousins were statistically tied for the top post.
Senator Richard Gordon obtained 15.4 percent of votes.
The others were: Senator Manuel Villar Jr., 7.2 percent; Bro. Eddie Villanueva, 1.5 percent; former president Joseph Estrada , 1 percent; Nicanor Perlas, 0.7 percent; JC de los Reyes, 0.2 percent; and Senator Jamby Madrigal, 0.1 percent. (JMR/Sunnex).
