The Philippine National Anthem was sung by the Lord's Choir..in fairness napakaganda ang blending...
eto na si Amba...nagkamali...gusto yatang tumayo sa podium ng Presidente..buti na lang nahimas-masan....balik sa kabilang podium na nakalaan para sa kanya & delivers his Welcome Address.
Here comes Mr Florante..as representative of the Filipino community....as for me ma-ilang beses ko nang marinig magsalita si Cabrito sa mga community gathering....kulang palagi ang preparasyon. But to my surprise, tonight thumbs-up ako sa kanya for He can able to deliver his speech flowlessly (almost). Thanks to OWWA officer Hector who painstakingly mentor him. He mentioned some organization names attached to his group (10+)but what really botheres me most is that Philippine School, Doha has not been included..ewan ko kung bakit.
As per the Program, The introduction Of the Pres. should be delivered by HE the Ambassador to Qatar but to everyones surprise, DOLE Secreatary Marianito Roque do the honor.
Alas here comes the President....syempre tayo ang lahat at sinalubong ng masigabong palakpakan. After the much awaited greetings na paukol lahat sa mga Filipinong Bagong Bayani, she mentioned that at the airport alone H.E. S.H.B.K. Al Thani mentioned the resent signing of M.O.A. regarding benefits & salary ranges of workers between Qatar & the Philippines. Further, She mentioned that around 35T jobs are alloted to Filipinos who will be recruited to work in Qatar alone.
In fairness maganda naman ang naging takbo ng usapan..until such time na peicture taking na....hala ko po nag-kagulo...halos maipit na si Presidenta sa daluyong ng tao na gustong mag-pa kodak kay PGMA.
Eto lang po ang ma-ishare ko sa inyo at harinawa bukas matutunghayan natin sa mga dailies the whole story.
