A junior-level staff having been with the company for 3 years, then the company hired a new senior-level staff and offered this guy a higher salary than the junior-level staff.

A junior-level staff having been with the company for 3 years, then the company hired another junior-level staff and offered this guy a little high salary than the old one(senior as to experience within the company)
3. See yourself as the newly-hired senior-level staff:
A newly hired senior-level staff offered salary higher that the junior-level staff,but later the management increased the salary of the junior-level staff(who have been two/three years in the company) which became higher than that of the newly hired senior-level staff.
