Pagkabasa ko nung post ni kabayang Arecel, naalala ko rin yung nag-apply sa amin last month.

Ang akin lamang layunin ay sana kapulutan ito ng aral ng mga kabayan natin nag-a-apply.

Unang pagkakamali ng ating kabayan na nag-aaply sa amin ay late syang dumating. Alas kuatro ang schedule nya, 5:15pm na sya dumating. Ang siste, tinawagan nya ang amo ko mga 4:30pm na at pinagtanungan pa ng direction. Ipinasa naman sa secretary namin yung mobile, nasa discussion kasi kami noon. Tapos sabi nya na pabiro, this is a Filipino, they always get lost".

Ang ating kabayan ay nag-aaply bilang Contract Administrator para sa project namin sa Saudi. Isa syang lawyer, board passer pa naman. Pero di ko nakitaan ng professinalism.

Pangalawa, dumating wala man lang dalang kopya ng CV nya. Nagtanong pa sa secretary namin kung may access sya ng internet, ipinada-download at ipinapa-print ba naman sa secretary, nahanginan tuloy secretary namin.

Pinaghintay sya saglit habang tinatapos namin ang aming pagpupulong. Imbis na medyo alamin man lang ang tungkol sa company namin ay hulaan ninyo kung anong tinanong sa secretary namin??? Talagang ma-hi-high ka....Tinatanong nya kung marami raw ba pinay sa company namin. At kung mayroon din daw pinay sa head office namin sa Saudi.

Nang matapos ang aming pulong, ipinasa sa amin ng amo yung CV ni kabayan. Ibrowse daw namin in 5 minutes at kami ng kasama kung South African at mang-i-interview.

Noong nasa interview na, nahusay din naman na i-introduce ang sarili nya. Pero noong ipina-elaborate namin ang kanyang mga naging trabaho, simplang sya, halos wlang tumama sa nakasulat sa CV nya. Wala man lang syang naipaliwanag kung paano ang proseso ng kanyang binabanggit na job responsibility sa kanya CV.

Halatang trying hard, dahil ang pag-e-explain nya ay malayo sa topic. Nakalimutan nya na linya rin namin ang trabahong pinag-uusapan. Kahit anong pambobola nya hindi nya mapapaikot ang ulo namin. Para sa akin obvious na hindi sya ang sumulat ng CV nya.

Sa kalagitnaan ng interview, nagring telepono nya. Sinagot ba naman na walang sabi-sabi. Iniwan kami sa ere, nagtitinginan kaming tatlo habang may kausap si kabayan sa telepono. Sa pontong yun, ako na ang nahihiya para sa kanya. Sana wala na lang ako sa kuwarto na yun.

Sa pagpapatuloy ng interview, hindi na nakatiis ang amo namin na nakikinig, tinanong nya si kabayan kung anong inaaplyan nya. Hindi rin masabi ng diretso, eh sa CV Contract Administrator ang inaapplayan nya. Tinanong din sya kung may iba kaming position anong gusto nyang applyan, wala pa rin, kahit ano daw.

Bilang panghuli, at courtesy na rin sa applicante, reni-confirm yung mga contact number nya, para matawagan kung sakali. Tinanong ng amo namin kung alam ng misis nya ang number nya dito sa Qatar, alam daw naman.

Pagka-alis ni kabayan, tinanong ako ng amo namin kung iha-hire ko sya. Sabi ko hindi. At ang nakakahiya pa nito, bago umalis yung amo namin ipinasa nya sa akin yung notes nya sa CV ni kabayan. May nakalagay ba naman doon na, "He is a liar, I called the wife this morning and she doesn't know his number, she haven't spoken to him for more than a year, she didn't even know he is in Qatar".

Hindi naman sa panlalait, pero ito na ang pinaka-worse na applicanteng nakita ko. Unfortunately, kabayan pa naman.
