Hubby loses manhood, says cozy wifey did it

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya – A 28-year-old father of three woke up to find out that he will not be able to sire a fourth child anymore, or enjoy sex as much as before, after his manhood was lopped off allegedly by his enraged wife Thursday.

The husband was identified by the police as Sonny Rabonjan, resident of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan province, while the suspected “surgeon" was identified as his 38-year-old wife Lita.

According to investigators, Sonny claimed that he awoke with extreme pain in his groins and discovered with dismay that his penis and left testicle were almost severed, with only a thin strip of skin keeping his “crown jewels" from falling off.

Authorities said the victim immediately rushed to the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao, but doctors apparently failed to reattach the man’s sex organ.

According to Rabonjan, he had no idea of his wife’s gruesome plan since she was even cozy with him the night before.

But further inquiries made by the police indicated that his wife may have suspected that he is having an affair with another woman.

The suspect was arrested but also released, since her husband and his relatives were unsure yet of the charges that could be filed against her.

Philippine tabloids abound with stories about enraged wives and lovers “doing a Bobbit," that is, cutting off their male partner’s penis, usually as revenge for womanizing or abusive behavior.

The term Bobbit refers to John Wayne Bobbit, a former US Marine whose penis was severed by his wife Lorena Leonor in a widely celebrated case in 1993.

Unlike Bobbit, however, whose penis was successfully reattached by doctors, Rabonjan will have to learn to find other ways to restore his manhood.
