transport strike... ah ewan!
fuel prices have increased back home over the easter holiday. as expected, another transport strike is brewing. for years this has been the usual scenario... and what have this achieved besides creating a nationwide inconvenience & paralysis of economy? well, nothing i guess since fuel prices kept increasing & that's how the wheels of world economy turns. maski na mag handusay tayo sa kalye, wala na tayong magagawa dun di ba?
being in the transport business has its business risks. one of which is the increase in fuel prices, vehicle parts, competition in transport & among other things. filipino drivers must understand this & they should not blame everything on the government when their business is hurting.
democracy is good if exercised properly. marching to the streets is not democracy, its rebellion. but come to think of it, since 1986, most philppine presidents were seated from rebellion... & that's the way how the cookie crumbles...
