To warn everyone.. Qatar is NO longer safe..
This has landed on my inbox today from one of our dear Fil Ex member who wish to remain anonymous:
I just want to share this to everyone to give info. and to serve as a warning also. It was Saturday morning when my husband found that someone broke in our car ( which was park in our allotted parking area in front of our flat building). He/She or they broke the window on the driver’s side and forcefully open the car. Took all the things that they found inside the car, also included are money left on the compartment.
My husband went to the police station to file a complaint, the police said that there are five same incidents in the same area reported to the police station before my husband arrived.
Who would have thought that someone would have the courage to do crimes here in Qatar where everybody knows how rigid, strict and firm laws in the Middle East.
May this serve as a warning to all of us not to be complacent anymore, do not leave any valuables on your car.
Please take safety precautions at all times. Anywhere we are, we need to be vigilant and be extra careful all the time.
