FITNESS & SPORTS in DOHA
Future International Football Academy
Future International Football Academy is a football training centre for the development of children from the age of 3 up to 16 years based in Doha, Qatar. From September we will be running a full time program with sessions throughout the week and weekends. All our sessions are delivered by UEFA/FA qualified and fully certified staff who have coached all over the world.
The philosophy of our academy is to ensure that we create a positive environment where learning and fun takes place. It doesn't matter about your ability we have a total INCLUSION program.
Our sessions are designed to ensure all the kids have as many touches of the ball as possible and the emphasis will be on learning and developing through practice. In the younger age groups it is vital that the children develop their technical skills without worrying about any of the tactical implications of the game.
Our players will be coached on the technical elements of the game, dribbling, passing and finishing. More learning and development occurs in small sided games EG: 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 rather than 8v8, 9v9 etc. In the smaller games the players will receive many more touches of the ball and face many more decision making scenarios. As coaches and parents this is the part of the session where we stand back and encourage all the play that our children produce, whether it is some fine skills or making mistakes through playing and be careful not to prevent them from going through this learning process.
We also have an advanced academy where the children in our development groups are invited to join in more technical and game related practices.
