Bad experience

Today i had one of a life time bad experience , while seraching for a home (partitioned villa in Dafna area) , i ended up shortlisting few of them and went to see each of them , the first few were very bad , these were just extended rooms , atlast i ended up on this villa which is owned by this guy named Biju a malayale , being a malyale i started talking to him , then when i said i didnt like it as it is just another extended partitioned room , do you have any other rooms , he started abusing me all of a sudden , he was teling me that i called him nathur and i didnt even know the meaning , i asked him back what is nathur and he told me its watchman , after asking him the meaning , he again started abusing me , i told him i didn even know the meaning then why would i call him that , im not sure whether this guy is psyco or he is drunk , he started yelling at me and asking me to get out , while i was walking out , he was about to kick me , thank god i escaped from the psycopath and fortunately the taxi which i came in was waiting , i came back to the hotel and thought about it , what if the guy did something to me , nobody knows i was in his home , so friends when you go out to search for villas or apartments please take somebody with you . I just wanted to know whther anybody had the same experience with this guy , im just curious why he started talking like that .

If you know him , please let him know that what an asshole he is . His name is Biju , he told me he is running aconstruction company , came in a prado , and his number is 7044151.

Please also suggest what action can be taken against him , as i know the rules in Qatar are different from Dubai , i had been in Dubai for almost 5 years and visited around 12 countries , i havent seen a place like Dubai in the gulf region, it is heaven .

The reason for his act was just because he came all the way down to Dafna in his “Prado” thinking that you would rent so he could make some money as commission and profit from the villa. When he learn that you wouldn’t, he just got frustrated and used his anger on you.

As Rizks said, he deserved a slap and then a kick.

On a serious note, I feel you should have called the police and teach him a lesson.

Aset: They cannot. I have lived in all major cities of S Arabia and found them the same everywhere. It is the same here also. Only recently, A Malayalee was making photocopies of my documents at his shop near my home when a Malayalee steps. My work was pushed aside so that the newcomer could be served. I put my foot down and did not accept this behavior.

"he was about to kick me "...lol

Wat a daring phsyco.

Anywayz, first place when he was yelling at you - why didnt you yelled back at him and asked him to lower his voice ?

Secondly, when you dont know a meaning of any word - you should not tell to other wit tat word until unless you know the meaning of it ?

Thirdly, You could have slapped him when he abused you ?

Forthly, when was trying to kick you - you would have like a donkey kicked him back...:)

Fiftly and lastly, you didnt had to mention tat abusive word 'a**hole* as its agains the QL guidelines as well as the contact number and name.

Thank you and best of luck !

I can say the same for Egyptians, Labanese, Fillipinos, South Africans too...I mean first attend to their folks and then anyone else. But I take it as a natural instict being comfortable or rather cos one can relate to another being away from home, you understand what I mean..:). So dont see any harm. BTW my personal experience with people from Kerala is altogether different...they tend to attend to non Indians ahead of Indians or may be it is just me being from North India...cant say for sure...:)

Ha! Ha! If you have not come to know Malyalees so far, consider yourself lucky. They are people from the Indian province of Kerala. They have won themselves a name due to some special characteristics they have. They firmly believe the world is theirs and only they have a right to all its benefits. They will hire people only from their province for any job vacancy in their company. If you go into a shop run by them of which there are many, they will first attend to someone from their part of the world even if you had arrived earlier. Just keep your eyes open and when you notice such behavior in a person, you can tell yourself "here is one of them!"
