Bike Licence & maintenance cost of a motorbike in Qatar ... any thoughts ?!?!
Dear All... specially all bikers in Qatar,
I am thinking of buying a bike for my personal use which makes my life much more easier with increasing heavy traffic & less parking spaces. At present, I do have a valid driving licence for cars in Doha, but also would like to apply for a bike liscence. Is there any one who can help me with the procedure such as documents required , recommended driving schools, fee etc for bike licence and also about the maintance cost for a bike specially with brands like Harley, Yamaha, Suzuki etc .
Thank you in advance for your help & comments.. :)

What bike did you get in the end?! If you haven't got one or are looking to change, you can always look at A2 bikes for a few good choices. A2 bikes are especially good for commuting, as that category of motorbikes doesn't include the highest power motorcycles. Best of luck!
for bike no need to wait, u can get it easily, try Al khebra
no nadeem86, i do not have any previous experience of riding a motorbike ... therefore i think i need to go for the full course. do u have any idea about the costs for it ? and which driving school is better like waiting list and costs ? :)
If you have 2 wheeler driving license from your country, you can apply for direct test, they will charge you 200 for rent of bike and 50 rial for test fee
Thanks Wild Turkey ... but still do i will still have to attend classes for driving test if i am right ... right ?? :)
If you already have a license for cars you only need to take a driving (riding) test on a bike.
