Birth certificate for baby

Can anyone who's had a baby in Doha tell me how to get my baby's b-certificate?

So far, we got a notification of life birth from the Hospital, which we took to Hamed women's hospital to get a number, and then we went to NHA next to Lulu to fill out more forms and finally got a receipt to go to the CID next week.

Will the CID give the local birth certificate? I think I've missed a step.

Please help.

A year and a half ago we picked up the birth certificate where we got the receipt (NHA, by Lulu)... But things change. So, go where they told you, and if it turns out to be wrong (as often happens here) go back to NHA.

Just don't forget to go to your embassy to get a passport and whatever other paperwork they require since you'll need to get an RP as quick as possible for the baby so you aren't fined. There is barely enough time to do all this in the required time, but it's possible. Good luck!

Usually NHA issues the birth certificate, but if you are not under your husband sponsorhip then you have to get it from CID (note... this is not place from where you had the finger printing) It is located near industrial area, after the industrial r/a.

Just bring the receipt that you got from NHA, copy of your marriage certificate stamped by your embassy, copy of your and your husband's id..and if you can bring all the orignal, it's better...just bring all documents that you think will be important...passport, healthcard, etc. As you know, procedures here in qatar always change...

Don't worry...as long as you have all the documents, they will issue your baby's birth certificate without any problem.
