Adhil, first time I am hearing about the Sensor issues for the Pajero. most run smooth even through 500,000KM on the Odo. I think it all depends on the owner of the vehicle, if the car has been roughed up, definitely there is a problem here or two, but if it was used as a family car and daily commuter car, then you shouldn't get these issues, as long as car was serviced through the Dealer.

@britexpat- how about service and maintanence for ford??
@zackm- Pajero was on my mind... but i did come to know it often has sensor complaints...
Mitsubishi's Pajero is a good 2nd hand option too, runs well and easy to maintain. I prefer them to Prados, Pathfinders and Xterras
Lucky Luciano: They are very rare and alas too powerful for the ordinary man :O(
I recommend a PINK KIA
It's a good vehicle - Its an SUV but not really designed for off road. Good price, good buildm good options..
Ofcourse the next few posts will tell you to go for a Toyota or Nissan :O)
