Hi

I've been in qatar for a month and my health is deteriorating. Went to hospital two weeks ago, they put me under antibiotics. It made no changes to my condition. I went again last week and they put me under antibiotics again but this time they used the nebulisor on me and gave me a syrup which is for people with astma problem. I never had astma before.

I talked to my employer today and informed him that i wish to leave qatar as my health is deteriorating. He thinks i am lying to him about my health condition and is not willing to listen to me and release me.

Can someone pls help me and advise me as to what i should do.

Thanks in advance

Is it possible for me to contact the Ministry of Labour or Ministry of Interior anonymously via their website to enquire what can be done before logging a complain with them.

Despite my deteriorating health, my employer is not letting me go back to my country. Talked to him twice but he is still insisting that I must complete a work which may take 1 month to be completed. And my health is not good at all. He does not want to understand a word even though I have been to the hospital 4 times already.

Thank for your help

hi

i vomit and there was some blood in it on wednesday..so i went to HMC and the doctor there only looked at sking problem am having and gve me a referral letter to go to a centre bt for the blood in vomit he told me to come see him if i vomit again.

i then went to the XX hospital (prefer not to mention the name)...the doctor listen to all the problems i am having and carried some tests...then he told me i am having too many problems and he cant look at all of them, so he just looked at 2 of them...mainly for the vomit and breathing problem..for the vomit due to gastric he gave me a medicine through Intra-venous but that didnt do a difference, he just gave me some pills to take at night...for the breathing problem, he gave me a cough suppressant...

I am really amazed...it has been the 3rd time ive been to the XX hospital and i am still not getting better and i am having impression that doctors there are just trying to treat me by trial and error.

I talked to the HR of my company and he told me not to worry, he will talk with the boss on Sunday so that they release me and i return to my country by the end of October...

Last time i talked to the boss, he didnt want to listen to me at all...I am just praying that this time he tries to understand that my health problem is getting serious... Need your prayers also

Thanks

do i require an ID card to go to Hamad Hospital...Ive got the Working Visa with ID number on my passport...will that suffice? or do i also need a referral letter from my employer? Is the hospital a free govt hospital or paid clinic?

Thanks

Based on the Medical ground you can leave the Country anytime subject to nature of your Health. If notice is required you will have to serve notice period as per your contract of employment.

No on can stop you for leaving the Country, unless you have no liability with the Company or Bank etc...

If your case is that serious then you may visit Hamad Hospital and get a proper medical report otherwise you can approach Ministry of Labour or Ministry of Interior and logged a complain.

Try to find a doctor of your nationality so if you have any difficulty explaining to other doctors.

there are many poly clinics which provide good health care try calling them 1 by 1 and check if there is any doctor who speaks your language.
